Once we've had a chance to discuss and ensure everything aligns perfectly, we'll send you a straightforward contract for your review. Upon signing, a 50% deposit (which you can conveniently pay online via credit card) is required to secure your booking. From there, we'll proceed with planning, logistics, and catering to your musical preferences!

Yes, we can serve as MCs and make necessary announcements. Our MC approach is subtle and professional—unlike those who entertain with jokes or attempt to hype up the crowd, we prefer a more reserved style. Instead of directing guests to participate actively, we focus on enhancing the atmosphere through our musical contributions.

Yes! We offer DJ + Horns + Percussion - great for the main entertainment of the evening or keeping the party going after the band plays. We can also arrange smaller groups like Jazz trios - performing jazz standards (piano, bass, drums), Soul jazz organ trios - performing funk and Soul Jazz classics (organ, guitar, drums).

DJ + HORNS + PERCUSSION is a hybrid band that combines the best of both worlds for events for live music enthusiasts or those undecided between a DJ or full band. The performance centers around a DJ set that drives the energy and music non-stop throughout the night. We offer the versatility of playing any requested music and are not just limited to the band’s repertoire. Our wedding packages include at least one sound system setup, with the option to add additional setups for an extra fee. We provide wireless microphones for ceremonies, speeches, and toasts to ensure clear and professional audio. During non-performance times like cocktail hours and dinners, we offer background music playlists. For private and corporate events, sound systems can be provided for an additional fee based on your specific needs.

We offer ceremony or cocktail hour bands, wireless mics for speeches, basic mc services, COIs (for venues requiring them) songs/ playlist curation and a lighting packages.

We are located in NYC and are available for travel to perform at destination events. We have experience traveling for events both nationally and internationally and if you're interested in booking us for an event outside the NYC are, please let us know. Additional expenses for travel time, flights, and accommodations are factored in to the total price.

We are highly adaptable and can incorporate any genre of music into our performance. We pick from a mix new chart toppers, 90s hip hop, dance classics and include funk / soul,R&B, and disco. Each event is personalized to match our clients' preferences and desires. We provide clients with a music questionnaire to submitted to each client to create their curated playlist. This process also allows them to specify any "must play" songs and “do not play” which we’ll avoid.

Once confirmed, HMBB takes a 50% deposit (via electronic payment, ACH transfer or check) to lock in the date. The remaining balance is due at the time of the performance.

For private events the deposit is refundable if it’s with outside of a month of the performance date.
